OFF Line acquires Japan’s largest SNS photo sharing site, Photozou, from Digital Garage

Off Line Corporation (Tokyo, Shinagawa-ku; Koichi Ishizuka, President and CEO) acquires photo sharing service “Photozou” (http://photozou.jp/) from Digital Garage Inc. (TSE JASDAQ4819, Tokyo, Shibuya-ku; Kaoru Hayashi, Group CEO) as of July 1st 2014.

Photozou, Japan’s largest dedicated photo-sharing service, was started in 2005 and has approximately 3.3M members as of 2014 responsible for uploading approximately 10,000 – 20,000 photos/day. Photozou currently hosts roughly 200M total photos total.

We aim to bring Photozou overseas and intend to create a more intimate network by hosting live events and photo sessions where users can meet, collaborate and display their work.

In acquiring Photozou, OFF Line Corporation intends on creating a novel “real world SNS” in conjunction with the development of their ad-hoc communications protocol, “AirTalk Messenger”.
